The Tetouan Mediterranean Film Festival congratulates the winners, thanks all the participants and announces the date of the upcoming edition

The film Piccolo corpo by Italian director Laura Samani won the Grand Prize at the 27th edition of the Tetouan Film Festival; it also won the Critics’ Prize.

Palestinian director Hany Abu Assad’s film  Houda’s Salon won the Special Jury Prize; for his part, the Tunisian director Anis Lassoued won the prize for the first work for his film Gadeha, A second life. Romanian actress Loana Chitu won the prize for best female role for her role in Aline Grigore’s film Blue Moon, while the prize for best male role went to Palestinian actor Ashraf Barhoum for his performance in the film Algharib by Ameer Fakher-Eddine.

In the documentary film competition, the festival’s grand prize went to Moroccan director Asmaa El Moudir for her film Postcard; for his part, the Moroccan director Salem Ballal won the prize for the first work for his documentary Summer Pack. The Special Jury Prize was awarded to the film Nous by Franco-Senegalese director Alice Diop.

The Tetouan Mediterranean Film Festival Foundation expresses its gratitude and thanks to all the partners and to all those who contributed to the great success of this edition. And an appointment is given to all film lovers, from March 3 to 10, 2023, for the 28th edition.
