Synopsis
After Jason (9) was abandoned by his mother at a festivalfolklore, he takes refuge in a forest hut belonging to alonely mute. A series of circumstances eventually led them to forming a family – something that has been lacking for some time.
Vardis Marinakis
Vardis Marinakis (b. 1971, Athens) graduated from London’s National Film School where he studied under British director Stephen Frears. His debut feature film BLACK FIELD (2009) won 1st Prize in Toronto Inside out 2011, 2nd Best Film and best actress in Sevilla FF, Special Jury Award in Mumbai FF- president of the jury Jane Campion, Young Audience Award in Tous Ecrans Geneva
