The President of the Municipal Council of Tetouan Mustapha El Bakkouri receives the Executive Board of the Mediterranean Film Festival’s foundation of Tetouan

The President of the Municipal Council of Tetouan, M. Mustapha El Bakkouri, accompanied by his deputy, M. Abdesselam Damoun, received, on Tuesday February 15, 2022, the members of the Executive Board of the Mediterranean Film Festival’s foundation of Tetouan. The meeting focused on the 27^th edition of the festival’s program, which will be held in June 2022, as well as its great contribution to the culture and arts sector within the framework of its programs for the years 2022-2027.

The members of the board appreciated the support given by the president during the period when the festival was accused of irresponsible and clumsy dealings, as well as his efforts to make the city of Tetouan a point of cultural and artistic interest both nationally and around the Mediterranean basin. The members of the Foundation also expressed their willingness to engage in the ambitious cultural programs and projects programmed by the municipal council, which will be a pillar of the city’s balanced development.
