Short film script writing residency : between the two shores of the Mediterranean
COUNCOURS DE SENARIO POUR LES ETUDIANT DES ECOLES DE L'ART ET DU CINEMA AU MAROC
For the 29th edition of the Tetouan Mediterranean Festival, the foundation is launching a new category dedicated to students of art and cinema schools in Morocco. This is a short film script competition. Participants will have the opportunity to present their projects during a pitch session in front of a professional jury. Two scenarios will be selected and their authors will benefit from a residency abroad.
REGLEMENT
1- Students from the second year are invited to participate in this call.
2- Scenario must be a short film
3- Each candidate can only submit one project.
4- The script must be written in Arabic or French.
5- The school provides a certificate attesting to the student’s participation in this competition.
Form of participation
Selection
• A pre-selection committee made up of cinema professionals decides on the 8 chosen projects.
• On April 31, during the Mediterranean cinema festival in Tetouan, you will have the opportunity to present your project in front of professional juries during a live pitching session
• The jury announces the two best scenarios which will have the following prizes,
o A professional residency outside Morocco with a team of professionals specialized in rewriting Fully funded by the festival.
