Jamila, 21, a teacher of Arabic language, living peacefully in Tozeur with her parents, Abdelhamid and Emna, an elderly couple from a traditional background, and her fiancé, Khelil, 24, her colleague at school, a passionate lover, mathematician and artist, suddenly discovers that she is pregnant. Her life is thrown into turmoil. Convinced that no one had touched her, Jamila decided to keep the baby «fatherless». Many will reject her at first, but some will follow her. Her path is made all the more difficult when her father passes away and she discovers that she is an adopted daughter. Her misunderstanding of the «miracle» of the child she is carrying and her search for her biological mother will take her all the way to the Holy Land.
