Board of directors

On April 24, 2026, the Board of Directors of the Mediterranean Cinema Festival Foundation of Tétouan held a meeting. The moral and financial reports of the 30th edition of the festival were reviewed and approved.

During this meeting, Ms. Charafat Afailal was elected President of the Foundation’s executive body. The following members of the executive body were also elected:

• Vice President: Mohamed Bouissef Rekab
• Artistic Director: Ahmed El Housni
• First Deputy Artistic Director: Abdelkrim Chiguer
• Second Deputy: Khawla Chatt
• Secretary General: Abdelatif El Bazi
• Deputy Secretary General: Sara Regragui
• Financial Director: Ijlal Meslouhi
• Deputy Financial Director: Driss Skaika
• Advisor in charge of developing the festival’s visual identity: Abdelkrim Ouazzani
• Advisor in charge of relations with academic institutions: Ahmed Mjidou

Members of the Foundation also examined ways to enable the festival to open up to new horizons and strengthen its competitiveness in the cinematic and cultural fields. They also discussed the preliminary program and the provisional budget for the next edition, which is scheduled to take place from October 3 to October 10, 2026.
