When eleven-year-old Wissam decides to tell his classmate that
he loves him, he is confronted with an invasion that threatens to permanently separate them. This story of first love against the backdrop of war depicts a day that children and adults will never forget.

He obtained a master’s degree in writing and directing at Florida State University. He has produced documentary feature films, commercials and made awardwinning short films. 1982 is his first feature film as an author and director.
