The relationship between cinema and painting, the repercussions of the Covid 19 pandemic on festivals. Journey and experience of film director Mohamed El-Sharif Tribaq. And an exhibition of posters by artist Abdel-Karim El-Wazzani, sections and themes proposed by the 26th edition of the Tetouan Mediterranean Film Festival.
The program of the Tetouan Mediterranean film Festival is always offered by the 26th Edition, which will be organized from June 4th to 10th, 2021 via the “Scope festival” platform. The edition contains a rich program which includes the following parts :
– An international colloquium on the theme “Cinema and painting: borders or porosity?”, In which will participate the researcher Juan de Pablos Pons from Spain, the French academic Luc Vanchere and the Moroccan researchers Abdelali Maazouz and Abdelkrim Chiguer.
– A meeting imposed by our current situation, revolving around the theme “the future of cinema and film festivals after the Covid 19 pandemic”. This meeting will see the participation of: Lamia Belqaid Guiqa, director of the Higher School of Cinema and Audiovisual – (Gammarth, Tunisia), as well as Abdelsalam Boutayeb (director of the Film Festival and shared memory)) , Osama Abdel Fattah (Egyptian critic and journalist), Hammadi Guerroum (director of the Casablanca International Independent Cinema Festival), Mohamed Beyoud, artistic director of the Meknes International Animation Festival, and Malak Dahmouni (director of the Rabat author’s Cinema).
– Master Class presented by the talented Moroccan director Mohamed Cherif Tribak on his experience and his career, interviewed by the festival’s director, Professor Nouredine Bendriss.
– Exhibition of posters of the Festival under the title: “Posters of the artist Abdelkrim Ouazzani: an incitement to joy and a memorization of the dreams and transformations of the Tetouan Mediterranean Film Festival “.
